The Dacia Duster was already available at a reasonable price when it was launched in 2010. With a base price of currently 12,490 Swiss francs, it remains the most affordable SUV in Switzerland.
23,000 sales in Switzerland
The combination of SUV qualities, appealing looks and affordable price make the Duster a bestseller. Around 3.1 million units have been sold worldwide since 2010 to date. In Switzerland alone, the Duster has found over 23,000 customers to date.
Even the Pope drives a model
Even the pope has recently started driving a Duster, among other vehicles. In November 2019, Pope Francis took delivery of a vehicle specially developed for the mobility needs of the head of the church.
New engines and more comfort
With the second generation, Dacia went one better two years ago and made lasting improvements to the model. In addition to new engines and attractive design, numerous comfort details from higher vehicle classes fulfill the quality of life in the Duster, including automatic climate control, keyless drive hands-free chip card and multiview camera.
In other longer than Renault
Today, the Renault Group markets the Duster in over 100 countries around the world. Originally sold as a Dacia model in Europe, it has also been available under the Renault name in Latin America since 2011, as well as in Ukraine, Africa, Russia and India. The Duster is produced in Romania, Brazil, Colombia, Russia and India.
