CNG: New service station finder and route planner
To make it even easier for chauffeurs and private CNG drivers to find a filling station, CNG-Mobility has revised its two popular tools, the filling station finder and the route planner. In Switzerland, there are currently 153 refueling options for CNG vehicles - and more are planned. The number of CNG filling stations is also increasing abroad. Last year, around 300 new filling stations were opened across Europe.
This means that the milestone of 4,000 CNG filling stations has been reached. On a positive note, the number of filling stations at which biogas can be refueled is also increasing in Europe.
Find nearest gas station faster
Now the trilingual portal cng-mobility.ch revised the two tools filling station finder and route planner for the start of the vacation season. This helps CNG users in their search for filling stations.
Anyone who discovers a biogas filling station thanks to the filling station finder or route planner can look forward to the new functions and details such as column number, tank coupling or compressor capacity.
Better preparation for the routes
Newly, additional information on the suitability for trucks of the service stations is provided. This means that routes can be planned better because an access road that is too narrow or a service station roof that is too low is indicated.
