It will not be possible to match the record year of 2019, in which TCS Camping was able to increase overnight stays by 5.4 percent to 625,000. Nevertheless, the current booking levels give hope for good sales.
Bookings for the key summer season months of July and August are significantly up on the previous year. This is mainly because, due to the tighter travel regulations worldwide, vacations at home are highly in vogue. This year, far more than the usual 70 percent of guests will arrive from Switzerland.
Expansion Camping Gwatt Lake Thun
In recent months, additional glamping shelters have been built on various sites. Almost a third of them have their own sanitary facilities.
Especially Camping Gwatt Lake Thun, was modernized during the winter months in cooperation with the city of Thun and adapted to the increased needs of the mobile camper.
