For those who want to make the journey part of the trip, the navigation system provides access to thousands of Garmin POIs and recommendations from TripAdvisor and Foursquare.
Databases from different providers
In addition, extensive preloaded camping databases from the providers ASCI, NKC Campercontact, Trailer's Park and iOverlander are available, offering a selection of campsites, RV parks, service locations and more. A search mask can be used to filter for electricity connections, shopping facilities, outdoor pools or WLAN.
Real time traffic information
The Camper 890 receives real-time traffic information via the publicly broadcast DAB radio signal. In countries without DAB, the navigation system automatically switches to receiving TMC traffic information.
With the Garmin Drive app, the Camper 890 can be easily paired with the smartphone and receives additional services such as traffic information, weather data, gas station prices or reported mobile speed cameras via the mobile data plan.
Safe mounting options
The Camper 890 MT-D is equipped with several secure mounting options to fit any vehicle. The magnetic mount can be combined with the included suction cup mount or screw mount.
The Navi is also compatible with the BC 35 wireless rear view camera, providing a better overview behind the vehicle.
