Bugatti: Molsheim celebrates a record year

No fewer than 80 new Bugatti hypercars were delivered to new and existing customers worldwide in 2022. Among these hand-built vehicles were the last nine Chiron Super Sport 300s, all ten Centodieci, and the last Chiron and Chiron Sports for Europe, which were produced in a unique configuration in honor of Ettore Bugatti's eldest daughter L'Ébé.

Top speed of 420 km/h

With the world premiere of the W16 Mistral in the August 2022 Bugatti presented a roadster that combines timeless elegance with extreme performance. This model, unveiled during Monterey Car Week, will be the last road model powered by the already legendary W16 engine.

With 1600 hp, this engine, combined with the sophisticated aerodynamics of the W16 Mistral, enables a top speed of 420 km/h. The limited edition of 99 units was sold out even before the car was officially unveiled.

Customized designs

In 2022, Bugatti also hand-built and delivered the ten examples of the Centodieci, a modern homage to the EB110 supercar from the early 1990s. With the launch of Bugatti Sur Mesure, the manufacturer then responded to increasing customer demand for unique specifications and was able to push the boundaries for customization even further.

Since all production slots for the Chiron, the Bolide, and the W16 Mistral were spoken for, the focus in 2022 was mainly on accompanying the purchase of a Bugatti vehicle and meeting the requirements of customers wishing to buy a used Bugatti.

With Rimac new automotive age

With the establishment of Bugatti Rimac under the leadership of Mate Rimac, Bugatti will enter a new automotive era and further expand the brand's position in 2023 and beyond. And: on February 1, in Paris, the recently unveiled Chiron Profilée (AutoSprintCH reported) will be auctioned off. Announced as a true one-off, the Profilée is also unique for Bugatti with its character, design and loving details.
