For this reason, Sébastien Buemi is a perfect fit for the Swiss drive specialist maxon. Its high-quality electric motors can be found not only in the Mars rovers, but also in Ad-Blue injection systems and Formula 1 racing cars.
Smallest drives
maxon has decided to cooperate with Sébastien Buemi and sealed the collaboration on September 9. The racing driver visited the company in Obwalden for this purpose and also got to know its employees. Buemi was impressed by the clean rooms and the smallest drives, which have a diameter of just four millimeters.
This Swiss collaboration will be symbolized by the maxon logo on Buemi's racing suit as soon as Formula E starts its sixth season on 22 November. At the same time, the two-time endurance world champion and Le Mans winner will become a maxon ambassador.
