The DriveGuard was developed so that drivers no longer have to worry about tire damage - neither in the tread nor in the sidewall. It can be mounted on almost all cars equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), which has been mandatory for all new cars in Europe since November 2014.

How Drive Guard works: Bridgestone's new technology is based on high-tech cooling fins.

The new technology used by Bridgestone is based on high-tech cooling fins and supportive, reinforced and very durable sidewalls. These allow the driver to maintain control of his vehicle even in the event of a puncture and continue the journey at a speed of up to 80 km / h for another 80 kilometers to change the damaged tire or have it repaired.

Protection of the environment and less consumption
Independent tests show that DriveGuard achieves excellent results in key performance criteria, such as safety and wet conditions. In addition, it also protects the environment as it is fully recyclable and saves the motorist from having to buy a replacement tire, which also reduces fuel consumption thanks to the lower vehicle weight.
