Anyone can be confronted with this question: You suddenly need a car on a regular basis, but you don't know for how long. This raises the question of whether you really want to spend money on a new car now or commit to a longer-term lease. Or you don't have time to go car hunting anyway. Then there are the various questions that arise when buying a car: From paperwork such as taking out insurance and registration to the cost of repairs and servicing.
Everything is included except refueling
With Clyde, you can subscribe to a car easily and flexibly - without a long-term commitment, but with cost transparency for the user. With Clyde, there are no headaches about monthly car expenses due to hidden fees or unpleasant cost surprises. The user simply pays a monthly flat rate, which includes everything except refueling. This includes tires, vignette, insurance, registration, taxes, maintenance and wear and tear. The car of choice is simply and conveniently booked online, driven for as long as you want and can be returned at any time - just like a subscription.
The right car for your life situation
At Clyde, you can subscribe to exactly the car that suits your current life situation, but also meets your requirements in terms of make, model, equipment and color. That's why Clyde only offers cars that are actually available. The portfolio consists exclusively of young used cars with low mileage.
Minimum subscription period is three months
Clyde stands for and explains the simplicity of the transaction process: Click'n'Ryde, select a car with one click and drive off a few days later. After selecting the car, the customer can choose between three types: S up to 750, M up to 1500 or L up to 2500 kilometers per month. After paying the first monthly installment, the car is ready for collection from the Amag Auto Logistik Center in Lupfig, Aargau, within 10 working days at the latest. The minimum term of a Clyde subscription is three months, after which the subscription can be terminated with 30 days' notice and returned to Lupfig. Clyde is an Amag pilot project. It was developed and is operated by the company's own Innovation & Venture LAB. The new subscription model complements the Amag Group's service portfolio from sharing (sharoo), short-term rental (Europcar) and the AutoSense connectivity platform to leasing or buying a car.
