Auto Zürich (October 31 to November 3, 2019) is thus responding to the rapidly growing popularity of classic cars in Switzerland. It is currently estimated that there are over 75,000 cars over 30 years old in Switzerland.
Canton of Zurich in the lead
At around 20 percent, the canton of Zurich alone accounts for by far the largest share of the Swiss stock. In addition, the entire catchment area of Auto Zürich with all neighboring cantons (SZ, ZG, SO, SH, AI, AR, SG, AG and TG) comprises around two thirds of the entire Swiss classic car stock.
Well-known exhibitors show vehicles
This year, visitors can look forward to numerous exhibitors such as Lutziger Classic Cars, Emil Frey Classics and Niki Hasler. They will be showcasing legendary exhibits, including a Jaguar E-Type V12 from 1974 and a Porsche 912 from 1969. Auto Zürich Classic has developed special services for exhibitors from abroad, which will significantly facilitate the temporary introduction of vehicles from the EU.
Turnkey stand architecture
Together with Auto Zürich Classic, the new modular stand architecture represents another innovation at Auto Zürich. Exhibitors can fall back on a turnkey solution and thus significantly reduce their own planning and financial outlay. A very high-quality, yet simple design was chosen, which puts the exhibits in the spotlight.
