The highlight of Toyota's program at the Zurich show is undoubtedly the new Land Cruiser, one of the world's most successful all-wheel drive vehicles. Numerous other innovations will also be on display.

The star among Toyota's all-wheel drive vehicles is without doubt the new Land Cruiser. The off-road icon is celebrating its premiere on Swiss soil just in time for the market launch. It has a unique selling point in its segment, not least thanks to its resilient ladder frame construction.

New technologies
New steering assistance technologies such as a Torsen Limited Slip Differential (LSD), which complements the existing Torsen center differential, and a Multi-Terrain Select system (MTS) with additional Auto mode, which is automatically activated with the five-speed Crawl Control function, make it particularly capable off-road.

Underfloor camera
A 360-degree camera in conjunction with the multi-terrain monitor even offers the driver an underfloor view. Like its predecessor, the new Land Cruiser also has a towing capacity of 3.5 tons. With the launch of the Land Cruiser, Toyota is offering a further engine variant in addition to the existing 2.8 l D-4D turbodiesel engine. The new engine produces 200 hp and has a torque of 500 Nm (factory specifications). Prices for the newcomer start at CHF 34,200 (Profi version, 177 hp) or CHF 35,600 (Profi version, 200 hp).

Special model Toyota RAV4 Victory
With both hybrid and all-wheel drive in equal measure, the Toyota RAV4 is also in the spotlight in Zurich as a special "Victory" model. According to the manufacturer, the combination of 4×4 and 2.5 l hybrid drive makes it the perfect vehicle for Switzerland. The special model is available in the exclusive exterior colors Tokyo Red and Silver Sky from 49,600 Swiss francs.

Full program
In addition to the special model, Toyota is also showing all eight other hybrid models as well as Toyota's first series-produced hydrogen car, the Mirai.
