Audi: This is the fourth variant for the future 🎥
FOLLOWING the Skysphere roadster, the Grandsphere sedan and the Urbansphere space study, the four-door Activesphere Concept crossover coupe is now making its debut with a convertible body concept.
The 4.98-meter-long, elegant Activsphere concept car presents itself on the one hand as an upper-class sports model, and on the other as an off-roader with high ground clearance and 22-inch wheels. In addition, the rear of the sports study can be converted into an open load area at the touch of a button - creating a pickup truck that can accommodate a lot of leisure equipment such as e-bikes or water and winter sports equipment.
Futuristic designed interior
Due to its dimensions and performance level, the Activesphere Concept also uses the PPE platform shared by Audi and Porsche. At 2.97 meters, the wheelbase is typically large for an electric car and provides passengers with ample legroom in the interior.
The four individual seats are suspended like cantilevers in the continuous center console. The designers created the seat, back and shoulder sections as three separate shells that promise good lateral support.
When the car is driven in automated mode, the dashboard support and steering wheel as well as the pedals are invisibly recessed. The dashboard with its wooden slats also serves as a large sound bar and a full-width ventilation system.
Swiss premiere in Andermatt
Dieter Jermann, Brand Director Audi Switzerland at the Audi e-tron Destination Andermatt (center gallery): "Switzerland is known for fantastic winter sports destinations that invite you to pursue an active lifestyle. Emotional experiences characterized by high quality and pure freedom are guaranteed. These are attributes that connect the Audi Activesphere Concept with Quattro drive and Switzerland."
