The Aprilia SXR 50 ushers in a fresh trend in 50 cc scooters. It is intended to appeal not only to a young clientele but also to a broader audience.
The SXR 50 is a small scooter for urban traffic that offers comfort, functionality and performance otherwise reserved for higher-class scooters. At the same time, the agility and unmistakable look of all Aprilia sport scooters remain unchanged.
Sporty design, relaxed ergonomics
Thanks to this agility and low operating costs, the new scooter is a means of transport for a wide range of needs. The SXR 50 is powered by a quiet and fuel-efficient 50 cc single-cylinder four-stroke.
The front end with the large leg shield is dominated by a centrally placed LED headlight. This emphasizes the kinship with the triple headlights of Aprilia's big sports bikes.
A novelty is the connectivity system
The digital LC display is easy to read in all weather conditions and times of day. It includes digital main instruments as well as a wealth of other information that can be called up using the mode button. With the new Mia connectivity system available as an accessory, the smartphone can be connected to the vehicle via Bluetooth.
The SXR 50 can be ridden from the age of 15. It has a maximum speed of 45 km/h and is registered as a small motorcycle with a yellow license plate. Its price is 2795 francs.
