The Corona Crisis has drastically changed the world as we know it - doctors and nurses are pushed to their limits and longer than average shifts characterize their daily lives.

Audi Switzerland has launched two aid projects under the name Audi4Heroes to provide support during this period. Medical employees of the Triemli and Waid hospitals in Zurich can use a home shuttle service free of charge. The chauffeurs are Amag employees who volunteer their free time for the Hero Shuttle Service.

Dieter Jermann: "So far, we've been able to help more than 200 people find their way home in Zurich."

Heroines and heroes of everyday life

Dieter Jermann, Audi Brand Director Switzerland: "The aim is to get everyday heroes home safely, relaxed and as quickly as possible after a strenuous shift. So far, we've been able to make it easier for more than 200 people to get home."

Audi Switzerland has already equipped Audi e-tron vehicles put into service with a partition between driver and passenger. All occupants are required to wear a mouth guard. The vehicles are disinfected after each journey.

Auction for a good cause
In addition, Audi Switzerland, together with the Ricardo platform, is auctioning off unique experiences and valuable favorite items from the brand's ambassadors for a good cause (AutoSprintCH reported).

Scooters for hospital staff
Under the motto #weMOVEheroes, Seat Switzerland enables the mobility of hospital staff who rely on individual mobility solutions due to overtime, reduced public transport connections and longer shifts.

Even within hospitals, the distances from one wing to another can be long and exhausting in the long run. That's why SEAT Switzerland also offers 20 of their electric e-scooters, (eXS Kickscooter).

Nicolas Hobi, Head of Marketing SEAT Switzerland: "In these difficult times, we are happy to give something back to healthcare staff and provide them with mobility to make their daily lives a little easier."

Å koda vehicles are also used to deliver medicines.

Vehicles for important transports
In the current situation, Å koda Switzerland is also making a solidarity contribution to support people who are doing extraordinary things and is making vehicles available to hospitals.

In addition, the vehicles can also be used to deliver medications to chronically ill patients.

Jeannine Micheli, Head of Marketing: "In addition, the use of the vehicles provided is also intended to reduce the risk of infection among hospital staff in the intensive care units, who would be more exposed to the use of public transport. It's important to us to be able to help in a simple and uncomplicated way at this difficult time."
