The goal of the initiative is to develop an internationally leading research location Mobility in Switzerland and to work out solutions for future challenges.

Morten Hannesbo, CEO Amag Group AG: "Mobility will change significantly. And it is a key competitive factor for Switzerland as well. The economy and mobility are closely interrelated. Amag will be able to make a significant contribution and support this initiative. At the same time, we also hope to gain insights for our operations."

Increased knowledge from research
For Amag and its owner, this is not the first engagement with ETH. The new collaboration takes place within the framework of joint projects between ETH and its funding partners. This is intended to increase research knowledge and advance technological solutions.

Regular meetings, workshops and international speakers serve to promote exchange and anchor the projects with the partners.

An ETH Mobility Center is being planned
With its commitment, Amag is strengthening the initiative of ETH Zurich, in the context of which the university would like to expand its research competencies and network more closely with practice.

Already today, more than 30 research groups at ETH Zurich are active in various areas of mobility research. It is planned to further expand this expertise and to complement it with an ETH Mobility Center.
