Amag: Olivier Wittmann is Managing Director

After graduating from the Paris School of Economics, Oliver Wittmann began his career at Renault in 1991. After working in the retail business and in purchasing, he moved to the Sales Directorate Europe as Regional Manager Northern Europe in 2006.
On May 1, 2008, he was appointed Director of Customer Service and Quality at Renault Österreich GmbH.
2016 Launch in Switzerland and Austria
Two years later, Wittmann took over as Director of Sales at Renault in Austria. He went on to work for Renault Group in Dubai as VP Aftersales for the Africa/Middle East/India region. Since 2016, he has been Managing Director for Switzerland and Austria.
Own desire for a change
Bernhard Soltermann had already expressed his desire for a change in 2019 and made his position available. Morten Hannesbo, CEO Amag Group AG, who has been managing Amag Import on an interim basis for the last few months: "I would like to thank Bernhard for his great achievements over the last ten successful years at the helm of AMAG Import AG".
Management of various newly created areas
Since January 1, he has been heading this newly created area within Amag Import AG as Director Operations and is responsible, among other things, for the "Academy", the new "Digital Sales & Services" organizational unit, "Group Marketing", the "Business Transformation" and "Corporate Fleet & Used Car Sales" departments, as well as the "E-Mobility" competence center.
