It is the first stand-alone competence center in the car body and paint shop sector. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure, around 100 car body repairs and up to 50 reconditionings will be carried out each week in the future.
Commissioning is planned for the second quarter of 2021. The investment volume amounts to 23 million Swiss francs. Around 45 employees, including eight apprentices, will work at the new site.
Well thought out work processes
The Carrosserie Center Wettswil is equipped according to current standards with modern and bright workplaces. Thanks to well thought-out work processes, the vehicles no longer have to be driven for the most part during the repair work. A rail system with integrated lifting platforms serves as an alternative.
Intelligent energy management
The modern painting booths can save up to 80 percent energy compared to conventional painting systems. This is thanks to intelligent energy management, which independently regulates the heating of the painting booths when not in use.
