In terms of transport, the most modern AMAG competence center is located close to the highway exit and is therefore conveniently and quickly accessible for customers. The attractive new building at Elsihof 1 in the Perlen district covers around 22,656 square meters and houses a large-scale operation with sales and service for the Volkswagen brand, a Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Center, service for the Audi and Škoda brands, a bodywork and paint center, and a used vehicles center.
Important location
The canton of Lucerne is of great importance to AMAG as an importer. Until now, it has operated six plants in the heart of Switzerland, at Ebikon, Emmen, Emmenbrücke, Kriens, Rain and Sursee.
Strengths are now being bundled at the Buchrain site, with the Ebikon, Emmenbrücke and Rain sites being closed in their place. Kriens, Emmen and Sursee will remain, and AMAG Beromünster was opened just a few days ago.
AMAG employs a total of around 270 employees and 45 apprentices in the canton of Lucerne.
The 888 square meter showroom offers sufficient space for the large range of Volkswagen PW vehicles. The architecture was realized in accordance with Volkswagen's corporate design and, thanks to the corresponding ambience, enables a customer experience that is typical of the brand. In addition to sales, AMAG Buchrain also offers all repairs and other services for the VW brand.
The first VW Commercial Vehicles Center in Central Switzerland
The VW Commercial Vehicles Center at AMAG Buchrain is the fourth competence center of its kind after Uster, Givisiez and Schlieren. The centers are characterized by the fact that they are specifically geared to the size of these vehicles and thus guarantee optimum service. Consistently separated from the passenger vehicle sector, a clear specialization is thus achieved.
The state-of-the-art body and paint center not only allows work on passenger cars, but its generous dimensions also make it ideal for body and paint work on commercial vehicles.
Also for Audi and Škoda
AMAG Buchrain is also the official service partner for the Audi and Škoda brands. In addition, a large center for used cars with the "Das WeltAuto." quality label has also been established at the new location. In the covered showroom, more than 100 high-quality, immediately available used cars are permanently available for selection.
