Amag First: René Reymond succeeds Adriano Rossi
CHANGE At the end of April 2023, Adriano Rossi will leave Amag First AG and retire. As his successor, René Reymond, Operations Manager of Amag Betriebe Zürich, will then take over the management of the company.
Adriano Rossi started his career in the Amag Group in 1991 at Spancar Automobile AG, the Seat importer at the time, and was Head of the Seat brand from 1995 to 1998. He then led VW back to the top of the brand hit parade in Switzerland as brand manager.
Following his role as Director of Sales and Marketing at the importer, Rossi moved to the retail organization, where he merged the Porsche business into a powerful organization from 2010. Today, Amag First AG comprises locations in Zurich-Riesbach, Schlieren, Winterthur, Maienfeld, Locarno and Lugano.
Meeting places for all Porsche fans
Helmut Ruhl, CEO of the Amag Group: "Adriano Rossi has developed the Porsche Centers of Amag First AG into meeting places for Porsche fans. In addition, the successful development of the Porsche Classic business and the Amag First racing team took place during his time. Adriano has lived Porsche in the truest sense of the word."
As of April 2023, Adriano Rossi will be succeeded as Managing Director of Amag First AG by René Reymond, currently Head of Operations at Amag Zurich. In this role, he will further develop the Porsche business.
Start as sales manager of the group
Reymond joined the Amag Group in 2006 as Sales Manager Volkswagen in the Retail division. In 2015, he took over the management of Amag Autowelt Zurich, later also assuming responsibility for the Zurich East operating network, to which the Winterthur and Schaffhausen locations have since been added.
Since February 2022, he has been responsible for all operations in the Zurich region from Schlieren to Jona as well as from Horgen to Winterthur as the Operations Manager of Garagebetriebe Zürich.
