Among other things, there are price reductions for electrified vehicles; the Focus Electric now costs only 25,100 francs, the Mondeo Hybrid 31,400 francs. Last week, Ford Switzerland already launched environmental bonuses of up to 12,000 francs for the trade-in of older models.
Focus Electric
According to Ford Switzerland, the all-electric Focus now has a range of up to 220 km. This is sufficient for longer distances than most Swiss people travel by car every day. A smartphone app can be used not only to control the charging of the battery, but even to preheat the vehicle. With a price reduction of 11,500 Fr., the Focus Electric is an attractive offer on the Swiss market, according to Ford.
Mondeo Hybrid
The hybrid version of the Mondeo also receives a discount. Instead of 39,900 francs, it now costs only 31,400 francs. Low consumption of 3.9 liters / 100 km (factory specification) results in CO2 emissions of 89 g/km, which corresponds to energy efficiency category A.
Ford C-Max Energi
Ford's plug-in hybrid is available for 34,900 Swiss francs. In pure electric mode, it has a range of 44 kilometers. The electric drive is supported by a 2.0 liter gasoline engine. According to the manufacturer, the Ford C-Max Energi makes do with 2.0 liters / 100 km. Customers benefit from a 0 percent lease.
Environmental Initiative
Last week, an environmental bonus was also introduced: Ford is offering up to 8000 francs trade-in premium on ten-year-old and older passenger cars in Switzerland. These vehicles will definitely be taken out of circulation and scrapped. As the only manufacturer so far, Ford also includes commercial vehicles: Those who trade in their old vehicle for a Ranger, Transit Custom or Transit pay up to 12,000 francs less.
