Martin Wildhaber, President of the Bernese Oberland Automobile Association, and Barbara Germann.

The profound connoisseur of the industry ran her family's garage business for twelve years, worked for the importers Alfa Romeo and Fiat, was heavily involved in public relations and sits on the board of the Berne section, among other things.

Identify members' needs
Barbara Germann first thought about it thoroughly before she accepted: "Although I was very pleased to receive the request from the board, I answered the call from the Bernese and needed a little more time to make my decision. Thanks to the various mandates I have already been able to hold in the AGVS, I now feel ready for the next step. I want to get involved again, bring a new perspective and actively participate."

It is important to Barbara Germann to recognize the needs of the members, to advocate for the grassroots and to move forward with a positive mindset: "Good communication and closeness to the trade are at the forefront of my mind."
Besides German, Barbara Germann speaks French, Italian, English and Dutch.
