With the AEC, Swiss garages under the umbrella of the AGVS help motorists to save energy, fuel and therefore money. With the AEC, vehicle owners can have their vehicle checked for energy consumption and set an example for sustainability.
Savings of up to 400 francs
The 20-minute check, which is supported by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE), has the potential to save up to 240 liters of fuel per car per year - which, at current petrol and diesel prices, equates to around CHF 400 per year. At the same time, the environment is protected.
Doubling the number of EnergyChecks
Garage Walker GmbH has been participating in the program since April 2015 and was already one of the most active AGVS garages in previous years and has now more than doubled the number of its AECs by the end of November with over 1,269 inspections. On the other podium places: Garage Moderne SA from Bulle with 1042 AECs and Amag Nyon with 1028 checks.
