However, a super-bulli also needs a matching outfit. The world's largest tuner for Volkswagen and Audi vehicles has developed a matching Abt aero package at the request of many customers.
Optical tuning part by part
The material used is the same as that used in the original equipment. The following components can be supplied as a set or individually from: Front skirt attachment, front grille attachment, side moldings for long or short wheelbase, rear skirt set with four glossy black tailpipe trims and rear wing.
Aero package for other engines
The aero package is of course not only available for the top diesel, but is also compatible with the smaller engine variants.
An increase based on the high-tech Abt Engine Control is also available for the mid-range 2.0 TDI. The engine increases from 150 hp and 340 Nm to 180 hp and 400 Nm.
Special suspension springs
The coilover suspension from Bilstein can be used to increase the driving pleasure and emphasize the sporty look. Lowering is between 40 and 70 millimeters at the front and rear.
As an alternative, Abt Sportsline is also developing special suspension springs that will be available shortly.
Rims are available as desired
Attractive alloy wheels are a point of honor for the tuned Bulli. Customers can choose between the DR in 8.5 x 19-inch Mystic Black, and the GR in 9.0 x 20-inch. The latter can be ordered in either Matt Black with diamond-turned surface or Glossy Black with diamond-turned rim flange.
