24 Hours of Spa: Strong Swiss line-up 🎥

LONG NIGHT With last year's winner Raffaele Marciello and the DTM drivers Ricardo Feller and Patric Niederhauser, three Swiss drivers have legitimate hopes of overall victory at the Spa 24 Hours.

The Spa-Francorchamps race this coming weekend is particularly popular. With 71 GT3 cars, the record field of entrants from 2019 has been leveled. Eight brands are represented. The overall winning Pro category alone features 20 different cars.

Hope for the coveted title again

Three of these pro cars also feature Swiss drivers. First and foremost with last year's winner Raffaele Marciello. The Ticino native will pilot a Mercedes AMG GT3 from Team Akkodis together with Timur Boguslawski and Jules Gounon. Marciello is naturally hoping for a successful title defense, something that has rarely happened at the 24-hour classic in the Ardennes in recent years. The last drivers to repeat their victory the following year were Belgian Eric van de Poele and German Michael Bartels in 2005/2006.
