MHero: This hero wants to know 🎥
STARTING IN SWITZERLAND The first model of the Chinese luxury brand MHero is the MHero 1, a powerful electric off-roader with 800 kW (1088 hp) maximum power and a price tag of just under 150,000 Swiss francs.
The appearance of the MHero 1 (heroIt looks like a movie car from Terminator or Judge Dredd and, with a length of almost five meters and sharp corners and edges, looks ready for adventure. However, the luxurious interior, the complete equipment and the price of 148,990 Swiss francs are more likely to tempt you to cruise down Bahnhofstrasse first. With the high battery capacity of 142 kWh, WLTP ranges of up to 450 kilometers are also possible.
Four electric motors
But it can also really get down to business. Two electric motors per axle offer a total of 800 kW (1088 hp) maximum power and a torque of 1400 Nm, the all-wheel drive has six modes and both axles can be locked in the event of traction problems. The rear wheels of the MHero 1 actively steer, which makes the car very maneuverable despite its dimensions. The turning circle diameter is 10.2 meters. Unusual: thanks to Crab Mode, the MHero 1 can also drive sideways and diagonally if necessary - something that was previously only possible with the Hummer EV from the GMC General Motors brand.
Heavyweight
The MHero 1 demonstrated its off-road capabilities for the first time on the challenging off-road terrain of the TCS in Hinwil and gave a convincing performance on rocks, scree, inclines and tree trunks. The vehicle has an unladen weight of 3410 kilograms and a maximum total weight of 3920 kilograms. That's a lot, but - thanks to new regulations for alternative drive systems - you can still drive it with a normal B permit.
Dongfeng importer
Daniel Kirchert's still young Noyo AG imports the massive eye-catcher from China. The company from Rotkreuz works together with Dongfeng and has already brought their premium brand Voyah to Switzerland. MHero is also a Dongfeng brand.
