Auto Sport Switzerland: Award 2023 for Louis Delétraz
STARK Louis Delétraz is delighted to receive the Auto Sport Schweiz Award for his motorsport achievements in 2023. The prize was presented to the 26-year-old from Geneva at the Dîner des Champions, the official championship ceremony.
Every year, the Swiss Auto Sport Association (ASS) and its National Sport Commission (NSK) honor special services to Swiss motorsport with the Auto Sport Switzerland Award. In 2023, the prize will go to Geneva - to Louis Delétraz. After winning two titles in the European Le Mans Series (2021 and 2022), the 26-year-old secured the Endurance Trophy in the World Endurance Championship this season, i.e. the unofficial LMP2 World Championship title. Delétraz also took second place in the prototype class at the prestigious 24 Hours of Daytona.
Award is a great honor
Louis Delétraz: "This award means a lot to me. It is the most important prize there is in Swiss motorsport. It is a great honor for me to be included in a list with such famous and successful drivers as Sébastien Buemi, Marcel Fässler and Fabio Leimer."
On the podium in all races
Delétraz has won three out of seven races with his team-mates Robert Kubica and Rui Andrade (center). Apart from the opening race in Sebring, where Delétraz & Co. finished fourth, the WRT trio has finished on the podium in all races. At the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, Delétraz finished second in class behind winner Fabio Scherer. These successes show what the driver is made of.
