Alfa Romeo: 33 Stradale also as a Stromer 🎥
HOW IT LIKES The new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale pays homage to the legendary coupé of the 1960s. Just 33 examples of the new edition will be produced - optionally with V6 combustion engine or electric drive.
The new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale cites its 1967 predecessor in many details, but is a thoroughly cutting-edge vehicle. The new 33 Stradale, which is hand-built, is intended to bridge the gap between the history and the future of the brand from Arese.
Aluminum body with gullwing doors
The road-legal two-seater is technically also a race car. The aluminum body with gullwing doors and the V6 biturbo gasoline engine combined to create a super sports car that is now one of the most beautiful coupes. The goal with the new Stradale was to offer a small group of enthusiasts the driving experience of an extraordinary car. To realize this, Alfa Romeo created a new department called Bottega. This operates on similar principles to the famous Italian carrozzerias of the 1960s.
No active aerodynamic systems
The aerodynamic efficiency of the body is enhanced by a cW-value of 0.375, but even more underlined by the fact that the new Alfa 33 Stradale produces no lift even at high speed. The designers achieved this without active aerodynamic systems.
The interior features minimalist design and high-quality materials. The central instrument is a modern 3-D interpretation of the telescopic shape of the dashboards of classic Alfa Romeo models, and the steering wheel is free of switches and buttons. All controls are located on the center console and the headliner.
Top speed of 333 km/h
Two drive variants are available for the new 33 Stradale. The familiar V6 biturbo engine is used as the combustion engine, driving the rear wheels with a maximum of 620 hp via an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The all-electric version even offers 552 kW (750 hp), which is transmitted to all four wheels there. The top speed for both versions is 333 km/h. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is said to be achieved in less than three seconds. Prices are available on request.
