Alpine: 100 A110 R Le Mans for the 100th anniversary 🎥
EXCLUSIVE To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Le Mans 24 Hours, Alpine unveiled the A110 R Le Mans on the track of the legendary race, which takes place this year on June 10 and 11.
Alpine's A110 R Le Mans is also the embodiment of racing: a 300-horsepower engine, a weight of 1082 kilograms, acceleration of 3.9 seconds for 0 to 100 km/h and a top speed of 285 km/h. Plus with patented Hunaudières tuning for even more stability on the track.
The white and blue paint scheme of the special edition, which will only be built 100 times, pays homage to the colors of Le Mans, a fine blue double line and carbon elements. The A110 R Le Mans picks up on the unmistakable codes of endurance racing, such as the bucket seats or the shark wing on the carbon rear window cover.
Hypercar coming next year
With the limited series, Alpine pays tribute to the world's most prestigious endurance race on the occasion of its 100th anniversary. Alpine strengthened its presence in endurance racing with Signatech in LMP2 as well as LMP1. From 2024, the brand will compete in the new LMDh Hypercar class.
The special model is based on the A110 R and featuresCarbon components on the roof, wheels and interior with monocoque bucket seats from Sabelt Track. It also has a carbon fin reminiscent of the style of endurance racing cars.
Special chassis adjustment
The limited-edition A110 R Le Mans features a Road & Track wedge, an Alpine-patented innovation that further lowers and stiffens the car to improve stability on the track. This technical development, combined with a special suspension setting, improves performance on the long Mulsanne straight and in the fast corners of the 24-hour race.
