Cupra: More pep for the Formentor VZ5
WIDEBODY KIT For the sporty Cupra Formentor VZ5, vehicle tuner Je Design offers a limited-edition tuning kit that includes a lowering and track widening in addition to a roof wing and rear spoiler lip.
The success of the Spanish crossover coupé Cupra Formentor VZ5 is remarkable; especially because Cupra was able to secure the 5-cylinder engine from the Audi shelf. With this power unit, an even sportier Formentor was launched in limited numbers. In addition, the tuning forge wanted to go one step further. So some parts were developed specifically for the VZ5 and supplemented with existing parts from the Formentor tuning program.
Larger wheels show effect
The most striking visual change to the 390-hp Formentor is achieved by Je Design through the wheel arch extensions on the front and rear axles. They give the car a wider shoulder area and provide more space in the wheel arches. The newly gained space means that wheels up to a size of 10 x 21 inches can now be fitted. The 10" x 20" performance wheel in gloss black is manufactured using the weight-optimizing flowforming technique and therefore weighs just 13.6 kilograms.
Roof spoiler and lowering
With around 35 millimeters more draft, the suspension springs ensure that the wheels sit optimally. The tuner also recommends track widening from its own portfolio especially for the Rubi Copper R rims with 35 mm offset. To complete the individualization program, a large roof spoiler with air duct and a three-part rear spoiler lip provide more downforce at the rear of the Formentor. To ensure trouble-free registration, all parts are supplied with the corresponding EC approvals. For Switzerland, the tuner also offers the necessary certificates. All prices are in the Je-Design Shop apparent.
