Lamborghini: past and future 🎥
COOPERATION Automobili Lamborghini celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2023. To celebrate, the sports car manufacturer has teamed up with Japan's contemporary artist Ikeuchi as part of an art project.
Inspired by the anniversary motto "The future began in 1963", the joint project between Automobili Lamborghini and Ikeuchi was christened "Chasing the Future".

Cooperation with artists
Lamborghini, with its network of 180 dealers in 53 countries, has decided to organize a cross-sector project. Within this framework, several markets will collaborate with renowned artists. The company has created a platform to explore Lamborghini's core values in all forms. The first Japanese collaboration will be presented together with Ikeuchi in Tokyo.
Cyberpunk and robot anime
Since Ikeuchi burst onto the art scene in the early 2010s, his talent has quickly gained worldwide recognition. Inspired by cyberpunk and robot anime, he combines plastic models with parts of industrial products to create a vision of the future with familiar functionality.
Says Ikeuchi, "Lamborghini strives to shape the future and test the status quo, just as I do with my art. Original parts from previous anniversary models were used in the creation of Time Gazer and Time Chaser."
Influence of the heritage of the brand
The Lamborghini Huracán STO Time Chaser_111100 is one of a kind. It expresses Ikeuchi's cybernetics motif and Lamborghini's 60-year history. The influence of Lamborghini's heritage on this Opera Unica is evident from clear references to the introductory colors of previous anniversary models. The 111100 in the model name itself - binary code for the number 60 - also refers to the history.
