Auto Zürich: High-ranking visitor from Paris
WHERE TO MEET With great expectations, around 4300 invited guests met in the seven fully booked exhibition halls in Oerlikon as part of the exclusive pre-opening of Auto Zürich. They were not disappointed.
The exclusive pre-opening of the big car show is already a long and cherished tradition. The guests, among them well-known Swiss celebrities (see gallery), were already impressed by the multitude of novelties on the eve of the opening of the fair.
It was clearly noticeable that those present particularly appreciated the fact that with this trade fair it was finally possible to attend a full-fledged automotive event again - and that almost all brands were represented. More than 50 manufacturers are still presenting themselves there until Sunday.
Linda Jackson from Peugeot came to the big show
Among the high-ranking representatives of the automotive industry who were already present at the pre-opening, Linda Jackson, Global CEO of Peugeot, did not miss the opportunity to take a first look at the new models not only of her brand. At the last moment, it was still possible to present the new 408 to the lions as a Swiss premiere.
This has also shown that Auto Zürich is increasingly becoming a central meeting place for the industry. Thanks to the many positive responses from visitors at the pre-opening, the organizers are looking forward to the upcoming visitor days with great optimism. This confidence is already underpinned by the good advance ticket sales.
Test drives in the electric car at the ev experience
So anyone who wants to get a comprehensive overview of the model range in Switzerland once again should not miss the trade fair visit in Oerlikon. Already foreseeable is the large influx at the ev experience, the new test drive and consultation module with a fleet of 17 electric vehicles.
