Renault: Life under the open sky 🎥
PREVIOUS After the success of the first self-constructed touring van in Switzerland, Renault decided to extend this offer to other countries. The latest generation of the Renault Trafic serves as the basis.
The new Renault Trafic Space Nomad offers even more extensive equipment for customers who like to enjoy freedom on wheels from time to time. The photovoltaic system on the standard pop-up roof also ensures independence.
In addition, the new van is compact, easy to park and more maneuverable than a motorhome. It combines the comfort of an everyday car with the advantages of a recreational vehicle in which you can cook and stay overnight anywhere.
The open pop-up roof accommodates an additional sleeping space when the bed frame is down, but also allows you to stand in the vehicle.
LED lighting and USB ports
But the solar module is not the only advantage of the pop-up roof. Because the Space Nomad also has its own LED lighting for reading and USB ports. These are appreciated to start the next morning with charged leisure devices.
The Space Nomad is manufactured at Renault's Sandouville plant in northern France, and the conversion is carried out at Pilote in Angers. The company has specialized in recreational vehicles for 60 years and has been carrying out conversions based on the Renault Trafic for over 40 years.
Equipment meets all wishes
In addition to its pop-up roof, the vehicle offers two rotating front seats, a bench seat that converts into a bed, a 49-liter refrigerator, a two-burner stove with piezo ignition, and a sink with integrated faucet and a drinking and waste water tank.
In addition, a table can be placed inside or outside and an outdoor shower can be installed at the rear of the vehicle. The awning is more than four square meters.
