Ford: The cowboy comes to Europe 🎥
READY ALL THE TIME Ford is bringing the off-road classic Bronco to Europe for the first time. The four-door, left-hand drive version of the off-road legend will be available in limited numbers in some European countries - including Switzerland - at the end of 2023.
The Ford Bronco is characterized by its robust design, extreme off-road characteristics and now also numerous assistance systems for adventures off the beaten track. Now the off-road icon is getting ready for the leap across the Atlantic.
The exterior and interior design of the off-roader with the legendary name picks up on numerous design elements of its 1966 ancestor and interprets them in a modern way.
Adventure off the beaten track
The Bronco has earned its nickname G.O.A.T. thanks to its outstanding off-road capability. G.O.A.T. is the abbreviation for Goes. Over. Any. Terrain, which means: No terrain is too difficult for it.
But goat also means goat - and it also moves impressively safely over hill and dale. The Bronco is designed for adventures off the beaten track.
One of the most important goals in the development of the successor. This led to unusual details. For example, many panels and even the doors can be removed, all materials are easily washable and numerous fastening and lashing options facilitate the transportation of all kinds of work and sports equipment.
Two versions to choose from at launch
Typical of off-road vehicles, the new Ford Bronco also has a two-stage transfer case. Two versions are available: The electronically controlled system allows the gear reduction to be activated while driving. The electromechanical version has an automatic function that enables a smooth change between two- and four-wheel drive.
A rear axle lock is standard in both cases. A differential lock and a deactivatable anti-roll bar are optionally available for the front axle, which further optimizes the vehicle's manoeuvrability off-road.
