Once again, Škoda is accompanying the Tour de France as the official main and vehicle partner. 250 vehicles will provide mobility for the organizers and race management of the Tour de France or will be used as support and service vehicles.

The vehicle fleet also includes the purely battery-electric Enyaq iV, which Tour Director Christian Prudhomme uses as the lead vehicle on 16 of 21 stages. He waves the yellow flag through the sliding roof of the Red Car at the start of the stage. In addition to the Enyaq, Octavia and Superb iV models are also in the convoy.

Distance of 3300 kilometers through four countries
The 109th edition of the cycling classic started in Copenhagen (gallery right), the most northerly starting point in the history of the race. The 21 stages, including six mountain stages, cover a distance of 3300 kilometers through four countries.

On July 24, the participants reach the finish line on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris. To mark the tour, Škoda is launching the campaign "You have to love it. We do" campaign and is launching it in TV commercials, on social media channels and on the www.welovecycling.com website. There you will find information and stories about the Tour de France, as well as a competition.

Tour de France Femmes starts over eight stages
This is the twelfth time that Škoda has designed the crystal glass trophy for the winner of the race. In addition, the Czechs have sponsored the green jersey for the leader in the points standings since 2015.

Škoda is also a partner of the inaugural Tour de France Femmes, which starts on July 24. Eight stages take the participants over a distance of 1029 kilometers from Paris to La Planche des Belles Filles.

As the "engine of cycling," Škoda supports not only the Tour de France but also numerous cycling races and popular sporting events. In addition to the Tour of Spain Vuelta, these include the amateur race L'Etape. The worldwide race series under the umbrella of the Tour de France enables ambitious amateur cyclists to retrace a race stage.
