Porsche: A museum also for children
WHERE YOU MEET Great news for children: The Porsche Museum in Stuttgart is once again offering a varied program for girls and boys between the ages of 5 and 13 during the upcoming summer vacations.
From August 2 to September 4, Porsche 4Kids awaits young guests between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., who can enjoy themselves with the whole family as part of an Ideas Tour at the museum. Pre-registration for the free program is not necessary, but is required on a daily basis for the guided tours.
Workshops on the topic of everyday mobility
In keeping with the main theme "On the trail of ideas with Porsche 4Kids," children go on a journey of discovery on the exhibition level. With the help of the multimedia guide, they playfully become idea seekers and fill their idea box at various stations.
There will also be workshops on everyday mobility with Tobias Krell (center gallery), known as Checker Tobi. Always at the children's side are two familiar faces: 4Kids favorites Tina Turbo and Tom Targa. If you've never seen them before, you can get to know them in advance at www.porsche4kids.com.
Prototyping, testing and then presenting
Two workshops for 24 children each will be held at the Ideas Workshop on August 2 and 3 and August 4 and 5. The two-day participation under the motto "How do you move in your everyday life?" costs 60 euros per child with pre-registration by July 20.
On the first day, the 9- to 13-year-olds deal intensively with the topic of team building and conduct interviews with other children. They devote the following day to collecting ideas, prototyping, testing and presenting.
One-hour journey of ideas with the checker Tobi
Tobias Krell will be visiting the museum on August 9. Most people will know him by his nickname Checker Tobi from children's television. The likeable presenter is popular for his cool questions.
His one-hour journey of ideas in the Porsche Museum is interactive and invites kids to join in. At the end, he answers questions and poses for selfie requests with his audience.
Participation costs 15 euros per child. Children up to 14 years of age have free admission to the museum. The Porsche Museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
