Brabus: Maybach Mercedes with 900 hp power 🎥
Thanks to the increased displacement and performance of the V8 biturbo gasoline engine, tuner Brabus has made the Maybach-Mercedes GLS 600 4Matic even more impressive. Despite its heavy weight, the off-roader runs like a sports car.
Brabus hides the heart of its new 900 model under the red carbon engine cover. There, the 8-cylinder engine from the Mercedes Maybach GLS 600 4Matic, equipped with two turbochargers, is at work. However, Brabus increased the displacement from 3982 to 4407 cubic centimeters and now calls the engine Rocket 900 V8 Biturbo.
Forged wheels and noble interior
In addition, the vehicle received a sporty and elegant carbon designer appearance, 24-inch forged wheels and an exclusive interior. Thanks to the maximum torque of 1250 Nm and the maximum output of 900 hp, the Brabus 900 manages the standard sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, and the end of the acceleration orgy is only reached at 320 km/h - electronically limited for safety's sake.
Torque level is limited
The fast off-roader reaches maximum power at 6200 rpm, and maximum torque at just 2900 rpm. Both values are unique for an SUV with road approval. To protect the transmission, however, the torque level remains limited to a maximum of 1050 Nm.
Aerodynamics play an important role at the enormously high speeds. To this end, Brabus developed body components that reduce lift. The manufacturer puts the average fuel consumption at 11.9 liters per 100 kilometers.
High performance tires Sport Contact 6
The brakes have been reinforced to match the increase in performance, and the Sport Contact 6 high-performance tires are from Continental. At the front, the 24-inch rims are fitted with 295/35 R 24 tires, while at the rear they measure 335/30 R 24. Equipment and prices on request
