Lamborghini: The real race
SIM DRIVERS AROUND THE WORLD Lamborghini Esports presents the third edition of The Real Race virtual racing competition. This year the competition will be held in a new format in the three major regions.
The Real Race has become an important meeting point for sim drivers from all over the world after the success of the first two editions. This year, the winner will get the chance to become an official member of Lamborghini's new Esports team.
As in the previous two seasons, all races will be held in the Assetto Corsa Competizione game.
New format for the current issue
The creation of the new Lamborghini team is the result of the great wealth of experience gained with The Real Race. Made up of simulation drivers Jordan Sherratt, Gianfranco Giglioli and Giorgio Simonini, the team also represents an opportunity to expand the brand's visibility in a sector that is constantly evolving.
16 racers fight for the first place
For the current edition, Lamborghini has decided to change the format of the competition. At the end of the four qualifying rounds, one winner per group will be determined, who will participate directly in the group stage.
The top 20 from each round thus have the chance to qualify for the next phase. The group stage of the competition comprises six days of competition, divided by region.
A special in-game event offers one more driver per region the chance to reach the finals. The three final rounds will be held on one day, with the top 16 competing for the title. The winner gets the chance to join the official Esports team.
Huracán Super Trofeo single vehicle
Once again this year, the world's best sim drivers will compete at the wheel of a Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 in the racing game Assetto Corsa Competizione.
The new version of the race car will be the only vehicle that participants can drive in the competition's three continental series. The games offer the chance to drive Lamborghini models such as the Huracán STO or the Essenza SCV12.
