Töff-Testtage 2022: The great festival of the bikers
REVIEW After a two-year break from Corona, it was finally time again on April 23 and 24 for "Welcome to the Bike Test Days! We welcomed 900 test riders in Derendingen SO.
As we all know, the pandemic put a spanner in the works for the last two years with regard to the motorcycle test days. We, the exhibitors, our partner TCS and of course the test riders were all the happier when the green light was given for the 2022 staging of Switzerland's largest motorcycle test event.
200 test motorcycles
Around 200 motorcycles from all well-known manufacturers were ready and waiting on the premises of the TCS traffic safety center in Derendingen SO. Of these, more than ten were on the beginners' course, which as always was very popular and where novices without a driving license could start their motorcycle career under the expert guidance of the TCS driving instructors.
Except for a collision on the course, due to which the ambulance had to be called - we sincerely wish a speedy recovery (!) - and the one or other withdrawal of the participation ribbon, there were fortunately no incidents.
Weather better than announced
Pleasing: The weather was especially on the Saturday better than the weather forecasters had predicted. Accordingly, both participants and exhibitors were satisfied.
Jeff Nemetz from KSR Swiss (Brixton, Royal Enfield, etc.): "Saturday was very good. Our big bikes were permanently outside, and the participants showed a lot of interest."
Silvano Dragonetti, Marketing Specialist Hostettler AG (Yamaha): "After a break of two years, the participants were really keen on the event, that was clearly noticeable. And the quality of the customer contacts was for the most part really good. We are satisfied!"
