50's Rocket Festival: Music & Kustom Kulture 🎥

WHERE TO MEET Classic cars, US cars, hot rods, custom art and lots of rock'n'roll. The 50's Rocket Festival, which takes place on an area of 20,000 square meters in Zofingen, stands for this and much more.

 

The 50's Rocket Festival in Zofingen from April 22 to 24 is the place to go for cultivated vintage shopping, great music and lots of chrome. The event offers an eventful weekend in the style of the 30s to 50s on more than 20,000 square meters.

Inside, over 20 exhibitors and dealers, pinstripers, tattooists and custom artists will be offering their services.

Old sheet metal and above all a lot of chrome are at the center of the Retro Festival.

International and well-known Swiss bands
Throughout the weekend, DJs and rock'n'roll and swing & jive bands will entertain you with delicious drinks in the Rocket Babes Bar. Outside, bikers and classic car drivers with models of all makes from 1969 and older meet up.

The extensive food offer and other attractions leave nothing to be desired. As an official partner of the 50's Rocket, Tom's Bar-B-Que provides visitors and guests of the event with a delicious range of food.

The line-up for the 2022 event includes international bands such as Si Cranstoun, Pat Capocci (see video), the Rocking Bonnie Combo and The Jets, as well as Swiss bands such as The Five, The Starcruisers and Tommy Romero.

 

Free parking for visitors with an Oldie
Parking spaces for vehicles and classic cars built in 1969 or later are available in the area of the event hall. Visitors who come to the event in a classic car can park free of charge. There is a shuttle service from the normal parking lot to the festival venue.

However, there are no camping facilities. Dogs are allowed on the event site, but are not permitted in the halls. Visitors to the festival can reach the venue in the multi-purpose hall at Strengelbacherstrasse 27c in five minutes on foot from Zofingen railroad station.

Opening hours: Friday, April 22, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday, April 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday, April 24, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are available online or at the box office. Tickets already purchased for the 2020 event remain valid.
