Alpine: Supercar with hydrogen drive 🎥
SUMMIT 28 students from the Italian design school Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) realized the study of a hydrogen-powered supercar in cooperation with the French sports car brand Alpine.
The A4810 by IED concept car combines environmentally compatible technology with typical Alpine features. The car's name is inspired by the 4810-meter-high Alpine peak Mount Blanc, which connects France with Italy.
Tasked with designing a super-Berlinette for the year 2035, the design students set to work on their designs last fall.
From the proposals submitted, Alpine finally selected two, from which the young designers jointly developed the A4810 by IED project.

5.09 meters long and only 1.06 meters high
At 5.09 meters long and just 1.06 meters high, the two-seater has the typical proportions of a super sports car.
In terms of color, the look is characterized by a combination of blue and matte black elements typical of the brand and carbon details. At the heart of the vehicle is the hydrogen drive, which makes it locally emission-free.
New design paths for the Alpine brand
Alpine's chief designer Raphael Linari is also enthusiastic: "The A4810 project was very exciting. The result is a futuristic supercar that breaks new ground for the brand in terms of package, proportions and design language."
