Audi: Ski team runs with pure electric cars

SUSTAINABLE In the future, the new Audi Q4 e-tron will supplement the vehicle fleet of the Swiss Ski Association Swiss-Ski. The electric SUV with ranges of up to 488 kilometers offers plenty of space for winter sports equipment.

Swiss-Ski
Swiss Ski athletes Priska Nufer and Daniel Yule are looking forward to eco-friendly driving in the Audi Q4 e-tron.

The partnership between Swiss-Ski and Audi Switzerland dates back to 1968. As the official vehicle partner of the Swiss Ski Association, Audi ensures that the athletes are always mobile and arrive safely at their destination in all weathers - be it for training or competition.

The gradual electrification of the vehicle fleet underpins the high priority given to efficiency and sustainability at the Four Rings and also at Swiss Ski.

Operation, displays and wizards
As early as the 2020/2021 season, a third of the team opted for a plug-in vehicle (PHEV) from Audi. With the new Q4 e-tron, Audi Swiss-Ski is now also equipping itself for the first time with a pure electric vehicle (BEV) for everyday use.

Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron are the brand's first compact electric SUVs. Both offer a new dimension in interior space and practical solutions for operation, display and assistance systems.

Range of up to 488 kilometers
The top model available to Swiss Ski athletes is the Q4 50 e-tron quattro with a maximum output of 220 kW and a range of up to 488 kilometers. The Q4 e-tron enables locally CO2-free driving and, with the appropriate charging infrastructure, short charging times of only around ten minutes for 130 kilometers.
