Auto Zürich: Over 40 novelties and a Classic Show 🎥
WHERE TO MEET The organizers are looking forward with great confidence to the upcoming Auto Zürich Car Show from November 4 to 7 in the halls of Messe Zürich in Oerlikon. 43 automobile brands will present the current model year.
A new visitor-friendly design was developed for Halls 1 to 4.
Friends of classic cars can look forward to the second edition of the Auto Zürich Classic in Hall 6. Already at its premiere in 2019, it immediately advanced to become the most frequented trade fair for classic cars in Switzerland.
Exhibitors and visitors were enthusiastic about this new format. This is also evidenced by the booking figures and quality of the exhibits for 2021, which are once again above the high level of the last edition.
A meeting place for people
In contrast to the continuing downward trend in exhibitor numbers at international motor shows, the 34th Auto Zürich is sure to continue the turnaround already realized in 2019 with a ten percent increase in visitor numbers.
Organizer Karl Bieri of Auto Zürich AG: "For us, this is a strong indication that intelligently designed trade shows are justified even in digital times: as a meeting place, as a platform where people come together to exchange ideas and gain new impressions and experiences. The success of future mobility trade shows is no longer a question of size, but of competence of the content as well as efficiency and effectiveness in implementation."
Test drives and personal advice
With the ev experience, a completely new module will be offered this year. This is a cross-brand consulting and test drive center on the open space in front of the main entrance to Messe Zürich. The organizers are thus responding to the growing popularity of electromobility.
Visitors can use Auto Zürich's new online booking tool to select a model from a portfolio of 16 vehicles and book slots for accompanied test drives. The function and operation of charging stations on the respective vehicle will be demonstrated in a personal conversation.
Tuning, accessories and professional training
With the corresponding presentations, Auto Zürich is also Switzerland's largest tuning and accessories trade show, among other things. And Auto Zürich also offers a platform for education and training with the Brain Village.
The cantonal vocational championships are also held on site. Brain Village also offers daily lectures by experts and serves as an information platform for the vocational and technical colleges in the canton of Zurich.
Design concept and new lighting
Auto Zürich is presenting a new design concept in Halls 1 to 4. The adapted trade show architecture places the exhibits much more prominently in the visitors' field of perception. Wall elements made of black textile material conceal the look of the hall infrastructure.
The completely new lighting concept enables a uniform lighting mood and places the focus on the exhibits. In the future, only reusable elements will be used; the use of carpeting will be consistently avoided.
Ticket bookings conveniently via the Internet
Karl Bieri: "Exhibitors and visitors may be assured that all necessary hygiene and safety measures regarding Covid-19 will be applied. Therefore, only persons with a valid Covid certificate are admitted (vaccinated, recovered or tested). This will be fully checked at the time of admission."
The Auto Zurich team is now accepting ticket bookings via the new online portals (auto-zuerich.ch) or (ticketino.com). You can find more detailed information on the website.
