Genesis X Concept presents sustainable luxury in the form of an EV-based high-performance GT coupe concept car
The Genesis X Concept, the electrified concept vehicle of the new Hyundai brand, has won a Red Dot Best of the Best Award in the Mobility and Transportation category of the Red Dot Design Awards 2021.
This award was established in 1955 and is considered one of the three most important design competitions in the world, along with the iF Design Award and the Idea Design Award. Every year, winners are announced in three categories: Product Design, Brand & Communication Design and Design Concepts.
Design competitiveness
Launched in March this year, the Genesis X received the coveted Best of the Best award, demonstrating the competitiveness of Genesis' design on an international level.

An electrified GT concept car
The Genesis X Concept is an electrified GT concept car. The flat and wide front end is impressive, as are the shield-shaped Crest grille, the headlights that extend beyond the wheel arch and the double-layered bumpers.
The interior of the X Concept offers a driver-oriented design with a cockpit that surrounds the driver with all control systems and displays. It is inspired by the beauty of white space - based on the Korean philosophy of aesthetics.
Performance at the White-Turf in St. Moritz
The brand is also to gain recognition in Switzerland. For example, Genesis will be the new sponsor of the international White Turf horse races. As a mobility partner, the brand is dedicated to transporting participants and guests. What Genesis associates with White Turf is horsepower, hospitality and mobility in a luxury environment.
As part of its partnership with White Turf, Genesis will be on site in St. Moritz with a Genesis Mobile Lounge from February 5-22, 2022.
