Bentley: Power drifts with the Continental GT Speed 🎥
ACTION TOTAL As deliveries of the new Continental GT Speed begin, Bentley Motors is celebrating its dynamism with a film. "Continental Drift" was filmed at an abandoned airbase in Sicily.
For the shoot, Bentley had converted an abandoned NATO base into a gymkhana-style track.
This dramatic backdrop is intended to demonstrate the immense power of the Bentley GT's W12 engine with 635 hp and its 900 Newton meters of torque, as well as the dynamically designed chassis and rear-heavy torque distribution.
Comiso Air Station of NATO in Gymkhana style
For the shoot, Bentley had converted the abandoned NATO base, formerly known as Comiso Air Station, into a gymkhana-style track.
Originally laid out in 1936, Comiso was the largest NATO air base in southern Europe in the 1980s as a base for 112 ground-launched cruise missiles.
Abandoned almost 30 years ago and since then slowly reclaimed by nature, Comiso proved to be the ideal place to create a safe but above all challenging setting.
