IWC and Hot Wheels: Back at Goodwood 🎥

RACING WORKS EDITION At the 78th Goodwood Members' Meeting, IWC Schaffhausen and Hot Wheels presented the IWC x Hot Wheels Racing Works collector's set, limited to 50 pieces, to celebrate the return to Goodwood.

The video shows how the IWC x Hot Wheels Racing Works collector set was created.

The set includes in a metal toolbox the Pilot's Watch Chronograph Edition IWC x Hot WheelsTM Racing Works and the Hot Wheels Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Racing Works Edition.

The first set was auctioned online by international auction house Bonhams, with proceeds going to the Two Bit Circus Foundation.

The number 68 is a reference to 1868 and 1968, the years IWC and Hot Wheels were founded.

Race cars of all classes at the start
The Members' Meeting featured legendary race cars at Goodwood Motor Circuit - from classic Tin Tops and GTs to motorcycles, as well as Formula 3 and Formula 1 race cars with undisguised wheels.

A willingness to push boundaries and exceed expectations: These are the values that unite IWC Schaffhausen and Hot Wheels, two brands known for always testing the limits of performance and design. Both brands are legends in their field.

Titanium grade 5 is preferred material
The 43-millimeter case of the Pilot's Watch Chronograph Edition IWC x Hot WheelsTM Racing Works is made of grade 5 titanium. This metal was chosen by the Hot Wheels and IWC design teams as their preferred material of construction. It is lighter and harder than steel, extremely resistant to corrosion, and is widely used in automotive construction.

Mercedes-Benz 300 SL in scale 1:64
The set also includes the Hot Wheels Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Racing Works Edition. This exclusive model was designed by the Hot Wheels design team, created by Manson Cheung, and features graphics by Steve Vandervate and IWC designer Nicholas Schmidt.

It is the most detailed Hot Wheels 1:64 scale model ever made. Only 50 copies of it were made in the prototype workshop of Hot Wheels.
