Oldtimer Gallery: In Toffen the hammer falls again 🎥
AUKTION The Oldtimer Galerie invites you to its traditional auction in Toffen on Saturday, October 16, starting at 1:30 pm. Under the hammer come 102 vehicles, including non-automobiles from the Ordonnanz-Velo to the tractor.
Top Speed host Martin Utberg takes viewers on a tour of the Oldtimer Galerie Toffen.
In total, the 102 vehicles are worth 3.67 million Swiss francs or 3.38 million euros, so each lot is expected to be worth around 36,000 Swiss francs or 33,100 euros. Not quite a third of the lots will be called "no reserve", i.e. without a minimum price.
Again special conditions of participation
Due to the still necessary Corona protection measures, a maximum of 250 people with Covid certificates may participate in the auction on site. However, it is also possible to bid via the Internet, pre-bid or telephone call.
As with the last auctions, the Oldtimer Galerie will provide a live video stream so that you can follow the goings-on at the auction with your cell phone or computer.
Even long forgotten brands on offer
On average, the 102 vehicles are just over 47 years old. The most represented brand is Mercedes-Benz (ten cars), followed by Triumph (seven cars and one motorcycle), Jaguar (six), MG (six), Ferrari (five) and Fiat (five). You can see some of the cars in gallery.
There is also no shortage of long-forgotten brands, such as Armstrong Siddeley, Bristol, Matford and Sbarro. In total, vehicles from 50 brands come under the hammer.
Almost all types of vehicles, from microcars to majestic sedans, are waiting for new owners. Whether racing car, off-road vehicle, moped or agricultural vehicle, there should probably be something for every taste.
While the oldest car dates back to 1928 and a total of five cars were created in the pre-war period, there are 14 youngtimers and ten neoclassics/modern used cars for sale. The rest of the lots date from the period between 1946 and 1990.
Catalog with descriptions of all vehicles
