Ineos: The Grenadier comes to Switzerland 🎥

FOR THE HARD In July next year, the Grenadier off-road vehicle from British chemical giant Ineos will go on sale. Since last week, the off-roader can be reserved online and later also purchased there

Under the hood of the Ineos Grenadier works a gasoline engine (285 hp, 450 Nm) or a diesel (249 hp, 550 Nm).

Those who prefer the classic visit to the dealership, including a test drive, financing and trade-in, will have access to more than 200 locations worldwide, 15 of which are in Germany and up to four in Austria and Switzerland.

Ineos Automotive, an offshoot of a British chemical company, is having the Grenadier built in France.

Service at more than 10,000 workshops
The Ineos sales partners include established dealer groups and specialist dealers, especially BMW partners, since the Grenadier's engine comes from Munich. Service is to be provided by the more than 10,000 Bosch Car Service workshops worldwide.

The aim is for the customer to find an Ineos-certified workshop within a radius of 50 kilometers. Where spare parts are not in stock, they are to be delivered within 24 hours.

Production at the former Smart plant
Around 75,000 potential customers have already registered as interested buyers. From October 14, this will also be possible for other interested parties.

Production of the Grenadier will start in summer 2022 at the former Smart plant in Hambach, France. Prices start at a good 60,000 Swiss francs.
