Jeep Renegade Limited special model in the colors of the SMTC.

In 1884, the Cresta Run, an approximately 1.2 km long ice channel, was inaugurated between St. Moritz and Celerina. Daredevils rode belly-first and head-first down the ice channel on a sled. The sport is closest to today's skeleton. Three years later, the first private club was formed: the St. Moritz Tobogganing Club (SMTC). Its goal was to maintain the track and to preserve the tradition of the Cresta race. It didn't take long for the Cresta Run to become an attraction beyond the country's borders.

Jeep celebrates the tradition of the world-renowned Cresta Run with a special edition Jeep Renegade in SMTC club colors. The vehicle is equipped with a 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, 170 horsepower, a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The Jeep Renegade represents the official club vehicle in 2017.

The interior of the Jeep Renegade Limited special model is also in the colors of the SMTC.

The yellow and red colors of the St. Moritz Tobogganing Club characterize the new pinstripe-look "dress" custom-made by Garage Italia Customs for the body of this exclusive model. In a complex process, their creative designers dressed the surface with millimeter precision to create the elegant pinstripe look. The interior features high-quality materials and refined details. Black leather was combined with Alcantara for the seat covers. The Alcantara backrest, inspired by a classic English sports sweater worn by members of the SMTC, also picks up the colors of the St. Moritz Tobogganing Club.
