AGVS: 230 professional certificates distributed

The automotive diagnostician and automotive workshop coordinator courses are booming. While 182 specialist certificates were awarded last year, the 2016 graduating class has a total of 230 - 218 diagnosticians and 12 workshop coordinators.
Broken down by language region, 193 certificates were awarded to graduates from German-speaking Switzerland and 37 to graduates from French-speaking Switzerland. The professional examination for automotive diagnosticians is available in the specializations "passenger cars" and "commercial vehicles". A total of 186 graduates successfully completed the "passenger cars" specialization and 32 the "commercial vehicles" specialization.
The professional examinations for automobile diagnostician and automobile workshop coordinator with a federal certificate are open to all persons who have completed training as an automobile mechanic, automobile mechatronics technician or automobile specialist.
A total of 325 people attended the ceremony in the large event hall of Emil Frey Classics AG in Safenwil, including examination experts, representatives from politics and the AGVS association leadership. The youngest automotive diagnostician in Switzerland was Janik Leuenberger (20), while Andrea Brunner and Shane Bruchez were the only women to receive their certificates.
