The special model is limited to ten units and is only available in Switzerland. The anniversary version is distinguished from the standard model by a number of additional special features. These include a "10 Years Edition" matte finish on the lower sideblades, "Audi exclusive" full leather upholstery, a matte finish on the center console, colored stitching in the interior and floor mats with the R8 logo.
New matting process
A new process developed by the manufacturer is used for matting the sideblades. A special powder roughens the top layer of paint to a depth of a few thousandths of a millimeter, so that the lettering of the limited-edition special model becomes visible when the light falls on it.
When away, then away
The special model is available as both an R8 V10 and an R8 V10 plus at prices of CHF 218,400 and CHF 249,000 respectively. Interested customers can order this exclusive vehicle from one of the 13 Audi Sport Stores with immediate effect, subject to availability.
