The team's participation in one of the world's most famous racing events is the perfect occasion for Bentley to present the Continental 24. This is a limited edition of 24 special cars for Europe based on the Continental Supersports.
Performance and reliability count
Bentley Team ABT has already competed three times at the Nürburgring in 2017 and was able to deliver a good performance there. In the second VLN race of the season, the team recorded its best finish to date on the notorious Nordschleife with a second place. "A win in this race is as important as a world championship," commented Bentley's Motorsport Director Brian Gush. "A win is confirmation that the cars are robust and reliable, with precise handling and exceptional performance to boot."
Limited special model
To mark participation in the ADAC Zurich 24H race at the Nürburgring, a limited-edition special coupé model, the "Continental 24", is being launched specifically for the European market. This vehicle is based on the fastest Bentley ever - the Continental Supersports with 710 hp and 1000 Nm. The sound of the twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W12 engine is made even more spectacular by the Supersports' titanium exhaust system, while the engine itself has been given its final visual touch with a cover made of glossy carbon fiber.
Supersports
The Continental 24's performance figures are the same as those of the Supersport: top speed is 336 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 3.5 seconds (factory figures). The first deliveries of the Continental 24 to customers are scheduled for as early as July.
